Introduction
Hello all, welcome to my subdomain. Of course as I write this I am sitting in the british sun nearly completed GTA Liberty City Stories and feel cheated a bit by that game after completing GTA San Andreas a few weeks earlier. I think websites like this are so important as I can choose the look of the website a hell of a lot more than with any social media page like made these days. My interests are Music and Video Games with my tastes being quite eccletic spanning from 1990's brit pop right through to good old rock n roll from 1955-1962.
Update
This page has been updated to have more photos and pictures that mean a lot to me. I believe you can get a feeling more for what I am saying with the photos also many things are missing currently as I took pictures of things I can find and have cobbled together these items and bands bring me happiness and memories. I hope you enjoy completed GTA Liberty City Stories the aim is awful just started GTA Vice City Stories and played some Fifa 07 and got a team I made at 1 and half star starting in League Two to the Championship looking very good in the Premier League. VCS seems a lot better with swimming being implemented and cars seeming less explosive. I am also making plans to buy a ps3 when I am done my PSN will also be in About Us
Music I Love (Check Out The Section To See Music Videos Of Bands I Love)
The Four Seasons with Frankie Valli are amazing with there mix of doowop and British Invasion sounding material. I am also a big fan of groups like Oasis of course bringing up britpop along with other bands from that era which starts with The Indie British sound of the 1980s like The Stone Roses,The Smiths,The Housemartins,Big Country,The Style Council, The Pretenders, The Police,The Boomtown Rats and Marillion.
This then builds up into what we had in the 1990s with such groups as Cast,Dodgy,Echobelly,Oasis (brought up again),Blur,Edwyn Collins (who also did Rip It Up by Orange Juice when he was with them), Pulp with the amazing Jarvis Cocker and so many more I cannot think of right now. hounourable mentions go to groups such as Radiohead,Stereophonics and going away from that more british sound groups like Nirvana,Guns N Roses as well as more modern groups like The Verve,Coldplay and Keane. There are plenty of groups I missed out through the eras like Status Quo,The Sweet,The Searchers,The Beatles,The Rolling Stones,The Troggs, Dave Clark Five as well as Leo Sayer,Steeley Dan, Bachman Turner Overdrive and ending this list here as its got ever so long Siouxsie and the Banshees with there more gothy/punk sound which could give me another 5 groups for my list but I think you now get the idea of what I like musically.
My Life With Video Games
From The Nintendo DS my aunties daughter gave me at 4 in 2008 too my first gaming console the PS1 right throught too my newer ventures tothe PS2 in 2014 along with my PS3 that died in 2023 having surved me since 2016 which I watched youtubers on such as BlastphamousHD,ScareTheatre,NostalgiaGeek,OSFirstTimer along with plenty of others I cannot remember it all stays with you. my first video game was a Cars racing game on the nintendo DS which I love an awful lot and then my dad got my Fifa 07 on the DS solidifiying my life long love for the Fifa series until the PS3 era. I also really enjoyed The Sonic Collection,Zoo Tycoon,Real Football 2008 alongside many other titles that was my first gaming experience.
My dad then unearthed his 1998 PS1 slim not touched since the early 2000's for me behind the back of our old TV for me in 2012. The PS1 might have seemed basic to a lot of people in 2012 but coming from the nintendo DS it was amazing. the games the kept with it that came with the console back in 1998 where titles such as Rayman,Crash Bandicoot,Laura Craft and International Superstar Soccer a precurser to Pro Evoloution Soccer. Dad then bought me with the persuasion of Mum Fifa 98,99 and 2000 as I still preferred Fifa to ISC and also other games such as Tekken 1, GTA London 1969 which got me into the Grand Theft Auto series. I played these titles from around 2012-14 when I wanted what I called the sequal to the PS1 which is the PS2. when I wanted one the console had been discontinued for about a year.
In 2014 when I got that PS2 it came with games my parents had taken the time to source out for me with the help of friends of the family and actual family. I really enjoyed this console It felt like a real upgrade. the games I remember from the bundle are GTA Vice City,San Andreas and Liberty City Stories and Fifa Football 2002,03,04,05,Fifa 06,07,08 and 10. The collection was imperfect at this time and uncomplete but it showed me how good 3D gaming could be with a Nintendo DS. CEX was a massive friend around this time and I started buying more and more games at 50p to £1 in UK money. I later got spanning from 2014-2025 current day so many games in the bargain bucket I got the PES series even though I hated it as a kid due to different controls I got PES 1 right through to PES 11 along with Fifa 09,11 and 13 later on. The Simpsons game which was not as good as its DS counterpart hated the 3D platform thing going on as well as later on GTA III and Vice City Stories. I also got into Gran Turismo starting off in my PS1 days but continued into my ps2 days along with games like Tekken and the timeless games that started on ps1 and I continued playing on the PS2. of course by 2016 I needed a PS3 as I saw one of my childhood friends playing Minecraft and couldn't find a copy for PS2.
When I finally got the PS3 off of another family friend who had upgraded to the PS4 which I am yet to play another new era started for me not leaving behind the PS2 especially for its older titles and Legacy Fifa which I still believe is better than PS3,4 or 5 Fifa. The games I remember where Saints Row 2,GTA 4 (the best in the series hands down) as well as Fifa 12, Mortal Kombat and later on Saints Row 3,4 and Gat Out Of Hell of course there was Minecraft lets not forget the reason why I got the PS3 in the first place. I found it amazing at the time with its expansive lands and creative mode which a lot of people moaned about. When I was younger I used to love Lego but now I could play Lego without needing any blocks it was so cool. another feature I found was the WIFI which is something I didn't have until I got my first tablet in 2015 apart from quick glances at Ebay on Dad's Dell Lattitude running Windows Vista. I found youtube as I explained earlier and that was amazing within itself on the PS3 it was like Youtube had turned into a TV Station my only comparison before that.
Of course I did have a brief stint with a PSP in 2017 which I loved the only games I really played on there where GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories as well as some Fifa games. I lost it or it was stolen can't really remember just remember being absoultely devistated when I lost it and now I am coming into money with work and everything I can buy these things again the PS3 and the PSP they are cheaper and treated like junk now.
Another thing I got into through youtubers such as AngryVideoGameNerd and I got into the Atari libary yes that's right not nintendo,Sega or anything post 1983 crash Atari 2600. I asked my dad if I could have an atari 2600 he said "he would try but just remember how old it is will probably be hard to find one it good condition for cheap". well Christmas 2018 my wishes where granted and I got that Atari but it was an Atari 7800. the games on there where simpler than I was used too but I was amazed of course I had to wait for the controller the 2 button and joypad controller that came with the console in Europe. my atari 7800 was built in 1990 from France. My dad 6 months later tracked down a job lot from a house clearence as well as Breakout which I got in 2022. The best games I played on the Atari where Space Invaders,Ms Pacman,Ikari Warriors,Road Runner and of course I could never forget Breakout which I got in yet another house clearence.
I love the Atari 7800 so much my parents got my an Atari Flashback which was ideal not having to deal with the dodgy UHF connections that the 7800 had fully HDMI like my PS3 around that time and with the AV connections on the ps2 everything was more digital. The console is an amazing recreation of that era but done modern with newer components.
To conclude everything as this is getting quite long now, with the buying I did with christmas money in Chatham,Gillingham and Maidstone in England I really bulked up my PC and PS2 collections with the death of my PS3 in 2023 I dove deeper into the PS2 libary with no money to buy another PS3 or PSP at that. I also upgraded my PS2 setup to be component and it was like getting the PS3 back without Minecraft or Youtube but that's fine with a laptop or a Tablet or even a Phone these days I kept watching Youtube and learning things from people like Phillip Adams on OSFirstTimer like ChatGPT to write stupid stories. Whatever year it is whatever computer I'm tinkering with I feel the same joy as I did when I was 4 and got that first DS or 7 when I got that first PS1.
